Journey to Egypt With Joseph!

Beginning August 8 and continuing throughout the month, Quest students will follow Joseph on his journey from prison to palace while exploring the culture of Joseph's world. During our stay in Egypt, students will learn that:

• God gives us hope - "For I know the plans I have for you...to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
• God gives us special abilities - "God has given us different gifts." (Romans 12:6)
• God gives us wisdom - "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God." (James 1:5)
• God gives us forgiveness - "But you are a God of forgiveness." (Nehemiah 9:17)
• God gives us a family - "For you are all children of God." (Galatians 3:26)

We won't just hear these Bible truths - we will experience them, taste them, touch them, and be challenged to take them to our schools and communities the following week!

Fearless Kids Shine God's Light!

In July, Quest students discovered God's character at Crocodile Dock! Crocodile Dock is a bayou-themed Vacation Bible School curriculum, focusing on Exodus. At Crocodile Dock, we:

• discovered that God is with us by observing Moses and the burning bush;
• learned that God is powerful by witnessing the 10 plagues on Egypt;
• found out that God does what he says he'll do as we studied the first Passover;
• learned that God gives new life through the death and resurrection of Jesus;
• experienced God's protection as we escaped from Egypt by crossing the Red Sea.

The kids loved the worship songs and exciting videos, and strengthened friendships in small groups. Don't miss our journey to Egypt in August!

Jesus Gives Us Power!

In June, Quest students discovered Jesus' miraculous power at Power Lab. During Power Lab, we:

• saw Jesus heal 10 lepers;
• witnessed a blind man get sight;
• walked on water with Peter;
• learned about the death and resurrection of Jesus;
• learned about the Helper Jesus has given us.

The Best Hour of Their Week!

Quest is children's worship designed just for elementary kids. Our purpose is to give students a solid foundation in the Word of God. We desire for kids to experience God's truth for themselves so they can build a lifelong faith in Jesus. Quest meets in grade-specific small groups with dedicated teachers, spends time singing and being part of the Bible story in a larger group, and then goes back to small groups for discussion and to make new friends. Join us as we go on a Quest to discover the treasures of the Bible!
