Quest 1st - 4th Grade

Learning about God is fun!

This year the elementary (1st - 4th grade) Sunday school class is on a "Quest" to discover the treasures of the Bible. Our purpose is to give elementary students a solid foundation in the Word of God. The curriculum we use provides a building-block approach to understanding the Bible so that kids will walk away from the Sunday school year with a real understanding of what we believe and why. It helps increase their hearing and reading vocabulary of Bible words; believe that the Bible is the Word of God; read, write, and use Bible references to find Bible verses; and celebrate their new knowledge and skills. It also provides an overview of stories from the Bible. Kids enjoy rhymes, songs, games, crafts, and visuals. They "study" on their own each week with "Weekly Bible Reader" take-home pages to help them establish a daily Bible reading time.
